The Darts bring their signature noises and instrumentation back after 2 or 3 years of silence. Forgetting about conformity, The Darts alienate their hateful peers and make music for important people who don't think they're important. This music isn't for the people that have such pungent ego trips. It's aimed at the humble people who got to put up with a lot of bullcrap. The Darts are ambitious. They're trying to learn how to play guitar like guitarists are supposed to. It might have sounded better when they didn't know what they were doing. Because they always claim to be punks they had to practice Blitzkrieg Bop...the ultimate anthem of punkers. The Darts could sound like The Cure with more practice. The Darts were always influenced by bands like Dead Can Dance who bring an original sound. This CD has new songs, an old song redone, and a good amount of remakes. There might be one long filler song. The rest were worked on for a good amount of time. A later bonus track was added to the end of the album a few months later called "The Everlasting Shoogott." This is music you can share with your friends. This is a small step in the METAL direction.
